I respectfully disagree. Good code is robust. Learning to see the beauty that lies in that will make you a better programmer. One day, change shall be needed: those to whom it falls to make those changes shall, if it is good code, be able to see how to make the change and able to do so without breaking it
The prettiness of fragile code is illusory: do not mistake it for beauty.
