Although I now work on Debian based machines, I still have a very vivid and colourful (mostly blue) memory of my first days around personal computers and the inevitable Microsoft contribution in form of a Windows OS.
It is quite true, the frequency and momentum of clicks did severly affect the performance of windowed windows.
I love your work, please do keep it up.
