2015:

Internet, do you mean that little G on my phone ?

The Firefox icon is not an F tho

That obviously should be "the little f on my mobile phone"

So true...

I came here while trying out the Pulse reader for Android, but I'd like to remind you that before the little "e" on my computer, there was the little "N" on my computer (Netscape). Before that, there was Mosaic, but I don't remember if it had an icon.

Damn, I'm old.

Simon, i think he means facebook

i think its not about firefox, its about facebook

@Necrowizard I think "f" stands here for Facebook.

@Necrowizard: Can't say for sure, but it may have been intended as that kids today think that Facebook = The internet

2011: Still trying to explain to mom and dad the difference/similarity between Internet Explorer and Chrome and why the former is not "the Internet" and neither is the latter.

So true and funny.

I'd like to remind you that before the little "e" on my computer, there was the little "N" on my computer (Netscape). Before that, there was Mosaic, but I don't remember if it had an icon.
