Probably making a buffon of myself, but I don't get this one. Help?

Could someone explain to me this, please? I don't get it. Does this have something to do with gesture scrolling on Mac trackpads?

what's the question?

I don't get it...?

The answer is: Native Scrolling in Lion. Do you choose the right way or scroll like a Windows user? ;-)

wtf?

The "End" button will scroll to the botton. Or?

I think this is about the new native scrolling feature in OSX Lion, which changes the scrolling directions, so that scrolling under Lion is like on iPhone/iPad.

@Arf @Nishkarsh @Gardine @David: Apple reversed the directions in which to drag your fingers to scroll up or down.

I dont get it. Please help

I don't get it

I guess it is because of the reversed scrolling of OS X 10.7 AKA Lion.

It's because Apple recently changed the way you scroll in Lion.

The keyword is "natural scrolling".
Actually, no Mac user can be sure, in which direction a window scrolls, when he moves the scroll wheel or he uses the two-finger-swipe gesture.

Will it move the page, or the view?
I think, the trackpad is quite easy to use with natural scrolling, but the mouse wheel is completely different to this.
And finally it was absolutely unnecessary to change anything here, because nobody has ever complained about scrolling directions, or?

I think I get it, but being a PC user, it's still a bit over my head.

Hr hr - very nice :)

I switched the scrolling direction on my Thinkpad/Windows just to try it. I will not reverse - it IS much more natural. I got used to it nearly immediately.
