I think information overload will kick in and people will only be watching the most outlandish web denizens. Those people will be fighting for all the recognition they can get and everyone else will just remain anonymous, just like before. I sort of see social websites as the modern equivalent to having pen pals. That sort of fell out of fashion and I think people will eventually use their personal devices to keep in touch with those they really care about instead, just like before.
