DRM in games is frustrating for players..It will be better that they just encrypted accounts..

This isn't exactly all true.
THEY DID encrypt Credit Card info, and the passwords WERE hashed.
It is not common practice ANYWHERE to have every single thing encrypted.

Well, encrypting isn't really as easy as anyone thinks because you need to know what tools to use. Aside from that, making out an encryption takes hours or even days. Trust me, I've tried both.
